Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Old XBox upgrading...

    Hey everyone,

    i have an old x box (the original one) and i plan to buy one of the next gen consoles (360 or PS3) around christmas time. I was wondering what should i do with the old xbox. I know there is no market for it anymore so should i recycle it (where can i bring it to be recycled) or is there any good causes that might want it that anyone knows of?

    Trade it in towards your new one. Xbox + 6 games should get you 150 or so off your new one.

    Yeah right, in Gamestop they give you 2 euros per game and you can buy xbox's for 50 euro ish

    Well dont throw it away whatever you do. It might not be worth much as a games console but it is one of the best media centres you can get once modified.

    Hey all,

    yeah i have had it modded a long time ago so it plays multi-region DVD's and emulates all the old consoles and what not. Thanks for all the input everyone.

    I'm keeping mine so I've something to use if/when my 360 goes tits up, and has to be packed off to Microsoft.
