    I just paid my subscription a few minutes ago and it doesn't seem to have taken effect....how long does it take??

    Should have went through immediately. Did you check your Paypal account to see if the subscription is active there?

    It says on my PayPal that the transaction is completed...do i have to activate something in my boards account?

    Yup, nothing looks outta the ordinary, i've never subscribed before, what should happen once its paid?

    You should have the option of selecting the Subscribers group under User CP->Group Memberships.
