are you suggesting that i am selling these because i am not. I said a friend has them, i shall not be selling them though so i do not wish to become a 'millionaire'!! Not 100% if they are griffith but i thought they were. They are answers to past fe1 exam questions, and yes i am sure they are for the fe1s, or at least i should ceratinly hope that i can differentiate between what is and is not a fe1 ques as i am studying for them at the moment!

Could be on a sticky wicket there, posting material downloaded from a site restricted to fee paying students.

I wont say anything if you don't about post 1013.

I'm sure your intentions are totally honest but all the same just watch out if you are posting something someone has plagerised from Griffer ;)

lets not jump to conclusions now, i dont believe i said i have these and my friends brother who now has them did griffith courses thats why i assumed they were from there and why would sample answers be illegal anyways, is it not the same as LEGAL EXEC selling on manuals? also i havent posted anything from any site nor do i intend to and to suggest plargerism is a bit presumptuous!!! why has this recession made all us potential lawyers so negative!?:D

also what is this moodle thing??

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 14 Jim Beem

Legal Exec claimed to have permission from Griff re "not current manuals".

We are trying to stop you publishing copyright material from Griffith's moodle.

Bad idea when Griffith's staff are online at the time... :o

legallad- don't mind him he's just messing.

This thread is getting as tideous as the flippin FE's!:pac:

LL- I've no doubt you wouldn't post that material.

But there are some others who could easily post 2nd material by mistake.

We're all supposed to be negative its called FE! syndrome :D

hold on a second how dare you accuse me of that, clearly you are just try to stir s### here which is unwarranted. your accusations are completely out of order and have been noted....

You are aware of my previous post now & also that my advice covers those who could post 2nd hand material without knowing its prohibitions...

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88 ✭✭legallad

duly noted. I have read your previous post and see where you are coming from. It was your use of the words 'stop you' in the post previous to that, that led me to think otherwise. Lets leave it at that, and i wont be offering any advice as to the availability of anything in the future!!! ;)

It was just a precaution as you didn't know what Moodle was.

Anyone in the future could unwittingly publish something from Moodle 2nd hand leaving Griff to take umbridge and maybe more.

Clearly we all have the best wishes of our fraternity at hand- no probs! ;)

please help.........I have untill 1st July to decide with CAO..............

As there is no requirement that you have to have an undergraduate Law degree to sit the Law Society Entrance exams, it possibly would be more benefical to take a commerce, accountancy degree etc. If you plan to specialise in Corporate Law an undergraduate degree other than Law would possibly be better eg a degree in Economics would be better suited should you choose to specialise in EU/Competition Law. Also going foward I think there will be opportunities in Financial regulation and again it would be of benefit to hold a financial qualification as well as a legal one.

Hi guys, sitting 4 in Sept.

Could someone tell me is the Statute of Frauds and all that stuff about conveyancing, cases such as Supermacs, Boyle v Lee, part of the Contract syllabus? It doesn't seem to be from the syllabus but I may be wrong. It'd be great is someone could confirm that.

Also, is estoppel part of the Contract course?

Sitting four this October and cannot afford to do any of the courses.

Does anyone have manuals for sale, I'm looking for Equity, Contract, Criminal and Company? I'd like 09 ones and preferably a bit cheaper than 50 euro each. Seriously strapped for cash!

i was just wondering how broad those manuals are, are the topics covered well or is it just a summary of the course, are they value for money really at the end of the day

    HI, another question.
I'm doing Criminal and Contract and haven't looked at these since first year 2006. Could anyone tell me if there is anything fundamental which has changed in these subjects since then that I should know? I'm not doing any prep courses. The only thing I can think of for Criminal is the diminished responsibility. I'd really appreciate any response. Cheers.

do you have to do commercial for fe1>?

  • Registered Users Posts: 483 ✭✭legal eagle 1

    No theres no commercial exam!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 95 ✭✭Legal Exec

Although I'm selling them I can't fathom how people pass the exams without going to lectures.

There is enough material within a manual for you to pass an exam with.

€50.00 for a manual is a lot cheaper than paying for college but its your risk.

Yes and yes. The April exam included a full question on promissory vs proprietary estoppel.

Watching the Constitutional Law separation of powers lectures on Moodle, this stuff is so complicated. Somebody tell me it'll get easier. Is it true that some people just learn the rights? I have no plans to risk that but I can see why they would:(
