Hi Guys - Could anybody confirm whether of not my BT BroadBand will work with the following router? http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.aspx?sku=319206

    Thanks in advance.

    It should.

ADSL2+ Modems will work on ordinary ADSL.

But I don't offer any warranty. Netgear are usually fairly good.

I used to have this very router, and it works fine with btbb. The only reason I got rid of it is because the wireless kept freezing every couple of days and needed a reboot to get it back (wired and dsl both still worked). Don't know if I got a bad one or not, just something to be aware of is all, replaced it with a linksys and haven't looked back since.

Would you be able to send me on a link to the Linksys router you have (need a adsl/wireless combo) one like the the one I put the link up for.

Thats not really a great price from Komplett. The best deal around for a router/modem at the modem is the latest Netgear model which Peats have with a laptop card for 99 euros.

Is there a catch here? This is the latest N standard at 270mbps and at only €99 - seems a bit hard to believe. The rangemax I was thinking of buying was the G standard and 108mbps for €136.

This one also has a built in RJ11 (ADSL+2) connection which is what I need!!

No no catch at all! They must have done a good deal with the supplier. and I can vouch that it works fine:)

and can definately be configured to work with BT broadband.

Want to have PS3 downstairs and this router upstairs connected to PC - should be no problem right? Can then go online with PS3 without any phsical connection and use Tversity to stream videos, music, pictures etc.

    Is this understanding correct?

The router I got has been discontinued it's the WAG300N picked it up in PC world for about €80 probably because it was end of life. Here's a pic if you're interested...

Can't comment on the replacement (WAG325N) as I've never tried it, though linksys are usually very reliable. It's nearly twice the price of the netgear on peats though, and no extras so it's kinda hard to justify the expense...

I will say that the range of the wireless 802.11N is incredible even when running 802.11G over it, well worth the investment from my experience anyway.
