    Hello to all,
    I was just wondering if anyone could possibly tell me wht this is? I had thought a grub of some sort, but it's quite large, larval stage of something???

    Its an Elephant Hawk-moth Caterpillar.

    Its a fairly widespread and common Hawk-moth. The caterpillar foodplants are Rosebay WillowHerb and the related Fuchsia.
    The one seen here is wandering to find a place to pupate.
