Hi,

Can canyone recommend a good logo design company? There are plenty on the web & goldenpages but I am looking for a reccomenation rather than just picking one out of a hat and taking my chances.

Can't say that I can recommend anyone ... pm me what you are looking for anyways as I'd possibley be interested and you'll have to do up a spec of what you want either way

Yeah, Creative Storm. I have used them and I was really happy plus their stationary printing is excellent.

I can personally recommend Clear Technology based in Longford. They have a design arm who I have used.

Brilliant service, price and end result !

It does depend though on what you want. The clearer you can make your brief, the better. And it's a good idea to take some time to collect examples of the type of work you really like.

another option is to organise a contest, offer a price and let designers take part in the tender. You can choose the best designs and pay just that guy.

I would not do this. Holding a competition for such a small piece of work and without detailed written requirements is just not a fair way of doing business and unlikely to yield a great result.
