    Listowel.

    Definitely.

    No wait....

    Actually yes, Listowel.

    Horrible place. Nothing there.

    No Tesco.

I don't see any reason why it's packed every day when there's nothing there.

I think it's quite pleasant, apart from the river ,the farend and the people it's a totally tubular town.

Add Stillorgan to the list, 'crude incendary device' found under parked car there today!

Coupled with the shooting of some bloke thrown out of the car earlier this year, its gone down the tubes like Clontarf! :D

That is funny after the Crisis in the town after a rumour went around that 40 houses in the town were bought to relocate familys from Moyross in Limerick to the Town. Very cruel to inflict that on the people from Moyross:D

    Letterkenny is a horrible place!
And most of the people i've met there were also horrible!

Haven't been there in about 3/4 years and have no plans to do so:)

Dunno who you were speaking to, love the people in letterkenny!
One of the nicest places in Ireland!

Looks like a load of Crap, the Councillor who claimed he got the news from an estate agent couldn't name said estate agent when challenged on it.

I used to live there so I better say nothing, I still know people there! There were plans for Tesco to arrive but objections came in, from SuperValu oddly enough. They should have been discarded without being read!

If I'm to go by my brother's Garda stories I'd have to say Darndale.

But why are Irish towns ****e?

Because there was no money to build nice buildings are they were mainly supply joints for poor farmers.

Out the country, people in Ireland don't want to live in these dumps, they want to live on a bit o'ground so the problem continues.

Look at Frank Fahey, property man and politician. And then look at that hole he comes from, Gort and you will understand all.

Derry. Well you can walk the walls, it's grand.

If you want a crappy impoverished Irish town, there's loads of examples. But if you add a sectarian, two-bit, cut-off bit o'spice to claim the title of Superdump Éireann, take the tow-rope out of your car in case you use it to string yourself up after visting.............................................................................................
    .................................. CASTLEDERG:eek:
