Remove acrylic paint splatter from uPVC

Hi there, Can anyone recommend a product or method for getting paint spatters of uPVC - too much hurry, failing light, approaching rain etc (just poor preparation really!!). When i scrape with an edge it is smudging and engraining it further rather than lifting it. Hopefully the collective wisdom of the board can help.…
