Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Aldi HDMI DVD Player

What do you think of the Aldi HDMI DVD Player going on sale this Thursday 6th Sept. It comes with its own hdmi cable but it doesn't list divX as a compatible standard. This is a bit ridiculous seeing as it comes with a USB input. Does anyone know if this is just an oversight on the ad or if it won't play DivX's???

On a German forum that monitors the various stuff that comes from Tevion I believe this is the DVD player that is advertised and the poster gives a link to a review and you can see the Xvid logo on the top of the player and is tested in the review.

Looks like it uses the Zoran 888 chipset and looking at the UI is the same on the silvercrest players which are practically all the same company.
