Yeah, a face an inch thick in orange make-up that's a completely different shade to the rest of their skin..You have to try the foundation in the right light people!

Irish girls are definitely trying to emulate American girls way too much. I'm sick of those giant sunglasses. Fake tan is usually horrible, but I have seen exceptions.

I myself like being pale :)

I disagree. For a fashion capital of the world, a remarkable number of the women were wearing tracksuits, clapped out denims or frumpy a'uld potato sacks. The men were even worse.

You must be a real blonde then! :D

    Maybe she isn't a real blonde!:D

I see subc felt the need to bring up more stereotypes. That is like saying 'go to Roma, and everyone is dressed up like a gladiator''.

Just because a city is renowned for it's fashion does not make the whole city fashionable. I doubt you have been to Paris, but do you know that Paris has black people? Yeah, and Subc not everyone wheres a black and white polo neck, or wears a burret(?)

Real blonde I ain't!..nope I'm mousy brown by nature and I felt it didn't reflect my fabulous personality, so I jazzed it up a bit! :D

So you wanted to have more fun with your personality?:D

So mousy browns don't have fabulous personalities?

OMG, I thought my post was a stereotype! :D

If you want an example of how sheepish irish women are getting for thier fashion look no further than the thousands of mugs who queued up to get those 'this is not a plastic bag' handbags.
Yeah great, youve got an exclusive handbag! Just like the other thousand women in the queue in front of you...

i went to school who was so obsessed with tanning she went to tanning booths and applied fake tan daily.

she then met another boardsie, who, after kissing her, did the " you've been tangoed" thing, and ran off screamming...

    teehee

    playa :p

Isn't this just the latest fashion, just like when the Rachel hairstyle was all the go a few years ago and before that was the bob or something like that. Excessive make up is not nice at all. Remember dancing with a girl and she got her make up all over my shirt.

As for the fake tan, looks great if applied properly but ladies orange knuckles are not attractive nor are the orange ankles, plus the smell is a bit of a turn off as well. I alway though the fake tan smells of sour cream and onion pringles.:D

Blokes are just as bad with their pink shirts and white belts and all that crap. Me I will stick to my style which is jeans and a nice top and nice short hair cut, none of this bleaching rubbish for me.

    Someone's a snooty southsider...:p

As long as she has enough cop to disregard what's fashionable if it means her bitching that it's uncomfortable/unflattering or keeps exposing X then I don't really care how a girl dresses.

these guys don't know what there on about

I agree with you, they all looked americanized. Looks like they're wearing their pajamas in the city. I'm not irish and I can clearly see that they have no style.
If you go to Paris, you'll see that the girls are much classier.
They could be classy if it weren't for their complete lack of manners, the rural French are much nicer and friendlier people, they have much more class IMO.:)

As for bad fake tan I love it, gives me something to laugh at as the ponces think no-one realises. :D
having compared both, for me, white legs and hot pants == not good.

I prefer a light, natural tan. I don't do orange.

and yeah, some fake tans smell nice, some don't.
If you have the figure for hotpants I don't think you need to worry about the little things like tan on your legs, you'll have the lads checking you out regardless.:)

Oh people shut the hell up about being an individual already. There's no such thing. If you think you look different then you're just not looking hard enough. You're not a unique and beautiful snowflake. People will always follow trends. People are just upset because other people follow trends they don't personally agree with. FFS, grow up. That is unless you can come up with a billion looks for a billion girls.

And for thr goth lovers. That annoys me to no end. It's a f**king fetish. Most attrative goth girls are attrative in natural makeup. Most goths are just fugly and trying to hide it.

^In the same way, liking fake tan and Uggs on girls could be a fetish.

Attractive girls are generally attractive no matter what they wear. However, they may appear more or less attractive to certain guys depending on what they wear.

Fake tan and too much make up is the worst thing a girl can do. How they don't realise they look ridiculous when their 'perfect skin' ends just under their chin is beyond me!

rue, whats wrong wit being a 8 -14 (height dependant). healthy, sxy. hmmm 16 can be healthy to, on tall women.

damn it, men like booty and something to look at- not a rag bag or a lump of lard. but just sexy, curvy, normal women

*frustrated at whoever told women to be stick thing is hot, and at those who say obese is hot to. normal please, all the way. right?

Tends to be a minority of men who like the stick thing. Seems to more from magazines, press, fashion etc rather than men.

    Curves are sooooo good!:D

Love handles aren't too bad either. Come in handy at times! But just keep them to yourselves and don't wear belly tops.

God, she looks awful in that photo.
I don't understand this mentality...oooh I'm going to starve myself so the boys will like me.. when I have male friends regularly complaining about this exact trend .
I do blame the media and fashion designers for producing ridiculously tiny clothes.
