Have a pound of sirloin steak already sliced into pieces and not sure what to do with it. Only thing I can think of is a stir-fry so if anyone has a nice recipe for one or any other ideas of what to do with it it'd be much appreciated.

    Thanks!

Steak fajitas? Stir fry your beef with lots of onions and red and green peppers, and season with chilli powder, garlic powder, crushed oregano, cayenne, salt, pepper and sugar. Eat with warm tortilla breads, grated cheese, salsa and sour cream. Tasty.

    Thai-style beef soup?

Fry a couple of dessert spoons of thai curry paste in a pot with some minced garlic & ginger & a couple of green chilis (if you like it really hot)
Add a 2 litres (more or less depending on how much beef you have) of beef stock (not too strong)
    Bring to boil
    Stir in beef slices
Bring back to boil & then simmer for 10 mins
Add 2 tbsp nam pla (fish sauce), 2 tbsp soy sauce & juice of a lime
Add can of stir fry veg (drained & rinsed in fresh water)
    Simmer for further 10 mins
Crumble in 1 or 2 blocks of medium noodles
    Simmer for another 4 minutes
Serve with fresh coriander & finely chopped scallions sprinkled on top

    Thai beef salad-

    Dressing

Two tablespoons of Fish sauce (Nam pla)
Two tablespoons of fresh lime juice
    One scant teaspoon of sugar
Chopped garlic and chilli to taste
    Mix the whole lot together

Salad can be a mixture of leaves, tomato, cucumber, carrot, beanshoots

Pan fry the steak over a high heat and scatter over the leaves

    Spoon over the dressing.

Cold noodles can be added to this if a carbohydrate is needed.
