Recommend an independent VAG specialist

    I'm in the process of buying an A6 and just looking around to see if anyone can recommend a good Independent who is an Audi or VAG specialist around the Dublin area?

    Just for work done in the future.. the thoughts of handing a dealership vast sums of money for mediocre work just send shivers down my spine.. :eek:

    So come on guys, share your secrets :D

    Any independant garage should be able to look after an A6, I would not think they need to be a VAG specialist.

    Well its more for just in case jobs rather than standard ones such as services etc..

    The car I'm buying will need to have the timing belt and water pump changed in about 8k miles so thats a big job I'd rather hand to a VAG specialist than some independent who might not have done too many before on that particular model.

    Cheers for that byrner.. where are they based in Dublin?

    Got the exact job done by AdvancePitstop in Dundrum on a golf tdi. No problems ,took less than a day, reasonable price.

    Got KO4 Turbos, Exhaust Manifolds and Exhaust installed by Jomo Engineering in Kilucan on an S4. Highly recommended!

    Cant remember to be honest but it was 50quid cheaper than an independent in Tallaght and about 200 cheaper than foster motor co.
