Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

lads im looking for a pay as you go sim for my car phone (bmw old style built in thingy) ideally i will divert mu mobile to this when in the car.

really it will be for receiving calls and making the very odd one.

it will have to be o2,voda or meteor as 3g wont work.

do they all have to be topped up every month to keep them working? which would suit best

o2 is your best option just make one charageable call every 12 months.

Thats it and you'll get free credit with it to so no need to top up with 20 straight away...

Just so you know, on o2 prepay you can only divert calls to voicemail. I know you were talking about diverting the other way, to the sim rather than from it but its good to know beforehand that you can't divert the other way

    Every 6 months.

    From: http://www.o2online.ie/wps/wcm/connect/O2/About+O2/Terms+and+conditions/Speak+easy/Speak+easy+service
7.3. If you do not Top-up or make a chargeable use of your Account (being a use which results in a reduction of the credit on your Account or use of a pre-purchased Service such as Text Bundles or any other pre-purchased service that O2 may provide from time to time) at least once in any six (6) month period O2 reserves the right to suspend the Service. If your Account is suspended for six (6) months the Service will be terminated and any credit left on your Account will be forfeited. If, following termination, you become an O2 customer again, you will not be allocated your previous number.

Is your regular phone Voda or O2? as there are different charges for diverting from this mobile to the sim in your car (regardless of what type of sim you put in the car ).. It would be best to be aware of them.. Eg.. O2 will charge you for the duration of the call.. where as Voda will chage you for the Initial divert..(unless this has changed lately ..thats the way it is);)

Vodafone. Top up - 12 months to receive calls, 6 months for making calls.

If diverting from Vodafone to another phone I think its around 15c per diverted call.

Have you concidering swapping out the existing bmw kit for the new bluetooth version of the system - it might cost a bit but it's well worth it!

What car do you have - i'm guessing its a bmw 5 series
