Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A friend is starting college and will be doing a lot of CAD. What spec laptop would be good for this? Big everything, processor/hdd/memory? I guess it would have to a 17" screen, minimum? Thanks for any ideas?

Any spec laptop that you buy now will work for cad. Most cad you will do is 2d which is not that intensive on laptops. Hdd size is up to your friend on what else they want the laptop for. The more ram the better really with these things but he/she should be looking for a good reliable laptop. 17" would be great but not handy for carrying around for college so theres a trade off there of screen real estate and portability. I would go for a 15" with 2gb ram and 80Gb+ HDD
