Vinyl to mp3 with Soundforge

I'm interested in people's processes for converting vinyl to mp3. I use Soundforge and would like to know what needs to be done to get close to CD-quality levels etc etc. Anyone any useful links or ideas about the process? I will be importing files to Serato Scratch Live for playing out.

IMHO you are better off with a custom tool for the job. I use this

Cheap as chips, but works exceptionally well if the vinyl is in any sort of reasonable condition.
