    Hi, could somebody please recommend a graphics card between €300 - €400 please. Any help is greatly appreciated....

    If you don't wanna splash out for the 8800GTX I'd suggest the GTS model below.

    However afaik Nvidia are releasing a 9800GTX around November this year so this would result in the price of the Nvidia 8800GTX dropping in price so if u wanted to wait another 2 months you could get a better card for your money.
    There'll probably be a 9800GTS variant as well and the €400 should cover it.

    What are your system specs. What monitor do you have. As if you only have a 17" there is no point in a high end card. as you will never stress it out.

    Lower resolution on the smaller monitor means the card has less pixels to draw resulting in less work for the card to do.
    November aint far away I'd consider sitting it out until then, the new cards should be monsters:D, and second gen DX10 tech which means better compatiblity and better performance in DX10.
