Well if you are going all campaq, you will need an italian stallion to complete the look ! If you are not going for the italian eurotrash look, then the new Madone frames are nice, as are the specialised tarmac SL or the Roubaix (decently priced too), but I doubt you want either of those. If you are looking for superlight, super reliable and decently priced, Scott CR1 is worth a look. Giant TCR advanced's can be gotten for good money too and the BMC Pro is quite unusual but rides very nicely. I am not mad on the look of the Ridleys and although I have heard only good things I am not totally gone on the Orbea's either.

If we are going Italian, and most Campag-heads do, you want to look at Pinarello (F4:13 or its more expensive counterpart the Paris), De Rosa might be worth a look, but as with Colnago they tend to be a little overpriced (most italian stuff is really), Bianchi likewise you either love them or hate them (I love them).

To be honest I love almost every frame mentioned here, but If I was to pick one right now (and I will change my mind tomorrow), then I would go for the Cervelo R3. You can get a little lighter, cheaper etc... but it works out a little cheaper than some of the other boutique makes and quite frankly the best team in the world (CSC) ride them, with almost universally excellent feedback in all reviews. Saw one in the flesh recently, one of our RAS team upgraded to one and is thrilled with it. Would look very nice with all that black campy kit too.

That link gets you frame, fork, seatpost and headset, you might get better if you shop around. If you are getting a Record Groupset and campy wheels, stick on a set of Deda Newtown Bars and Stem or FSA it you want to match the seatpost (I am told its better go aluminium if you are racing, I have carbon bars but I take em off when I race, too many crashes and you don't want to be spending 200 euro per crash, even if they don't break you cannot fully trust them once you have landed on them once), Pair of Look Keo carbon pedals (or speedplay, time etc.. whatever your poision is), Selle Italia SLR (If you have a tough bottom), Fizik Arione if not and then you are done, except maybe for a set of elite or tune bottle cages, hell, go the whole hog and get the disgracefully expensive Record cages ! If you have anything left over get yourself some fancy cables, and/or a nice computer like my Polar CS400.

    Have fun.

Nice position to be in crashoveroid. With that kind of budget I'd go for a Litespeed Ghisallo ti frame. If you prefer carbon either a De Rosa Protos or a De Rosa King X-Lite would be the business.

if i had that amount to spend i would probaly go for the Pinreallo Dogma, or look 595. The new Trek frames look pretty sweet aswell,

A lot of the items quigs has mentioned im using myself on my look frame, saddel, polar computer and look keo pedals,

im using Ultegra couldn't afford compagno but would love to have it.

make sure you post up pictures when it finished
