Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Windows 2000 Installation rebooting at 'GRUB loading stage2'

I'm not sure if this would be more appropriate in the Linux forum so Mods please feel free to move it.

I got an old Dell Latitude CPi that was going to be thrown out at work. It was running Red Hat Linux 8.0 so I thought I would format the HHD and install Windows 2000 Pro on it so my girlfriend can use if for her collage work.

I used fdisk to deleted the Linux partition, I set up a new partition and formatted the disk. On reboot I popped in a Windows 2000 Pro CD and started the setup. I went through the usual Windows setup options and partitioned the disk in NTFS. The files loaded and then restarted. This is when the trouble starts. When the laptop reboots 'Press any key to boot from CD' comes up, I leave it so it will boot from the hard drive but then 'GRUB loading stage2' appears and it automatically reboots. This process happens continuously and I am stuck in a cycle of reboots.

Does anybody know what I can do to get passed this?
