Conflict with dell and hauwie E220?

    My vodafone huawie E220 modem works fine on my toshiba laptop but wont autorun on my brothers dell inspiron or our dell desktop.
    Anyone had any similar problems?

    AFAIK there is a conflict issue with the CD ROM drive on the Dells with the E220. Try selecting the "Unplug or Eject Hardware" icon & temporarily removing the CD ROM. Alternatively right click on "My Computer" select "Properties" then select "Hardware" tab, then "Device Manager". Under "DVD/CD ROM drives" you should be able to disable the CD ROM.
    Then install/use your E220 modem.
