Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Caller ID bypass

    Has anyone ever heard of a way of getting by hiding your ID . I called a guy I do work with today (with ID hidden on my phone ) but got no answer from him . Two minutes later he called me back and asked what I wanted . I've spoken to a few people who tell me that you cant hide numbers from his phone ..


    Is this possible ???????:confused:

    I believe the network operators can disable private number hiding for certain phones but I think it's for politicians and the like only.

    What feylya said minus the politicians bit .. networks can do it, not sure on what basis they will though.

    does he work for a network?

    Normally dialling #31#08X1234567 will hide your number from 08X1234567

    skearon - he's saying the guy still knew it was him and that his number didn't show as hidden.

    I guess we're also assuming that his number was definitly set to hidden.
