Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Finally..
Not strictly a phone or a PDA but with the built in wifi, multitouch interface, decent browser and you tube integration its an iphone without the erm phone..
Please bring out a 160GB version like the new "ipod classic" and I'm there!

8gb is plenty for me. Have a 30gig Video and I'm only using 12 and I could scrap about 6 of that. Already have one on order with Apple.ie

    :)

    Impressively only 8mm thick.
Price of iphone to come down apparently as well (according to today's Irish times article).

    The iPhone has dropped $200.
Those that bought it at launch are already complaining, Apple is giving them a $100 voucher for their troubles.

As somebody who is a regular user of iTunes, I find it a PITA having to burn, then rip CD's, then transfer them over to my phone.

The ability to directly download to a device is a big bonus, I think. One really cool feature of the Touch that caught my eye was that when you are using the device in a Starbucks, an icon appears on the screen allowing you to buy the song that is currently playing over the PA system. This feature has great potential.

Having said that, I am giving serious consideration to a Nokia as my next phone, especially with Ovi. It's the allure of downloading directly to the device that's getting me interested.

The only problem I see with that is that you'll have to buy a song that you allready may have on Cd..
handy for the new stuff "moving forward " as they say..:D
