    hi all

    saw the army police on one of the n7 garda ramps today, they appeared to be doing a speed check, whats the story with that? have they got powers to do you for speeding too? was just unusual id never seen it before.

    The MP's are they to speed check military traffic you could have done 150 past them they would not care.

    There is a large volume of military traffic going to and from the Curragh Camp. The military police regularly hassle army vehicles along there with speed checks. Army drivers not only have to watch out for Gaurds hiding in bushes but Mps aswell:D

    Yes they do but they have no remit for it here.

    Oh dear another person with a little info.

    DF drivers can and have been stopped by Gardai. They are subject to the rules of the road the same as everyone else and can be prosecuted for driving offences the same as anyone else
