Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    All

    As part of our build we have had multiple CAT5e cables installed to each room, all coming back to our garage.

    It's now time for me to get this connected so I'm looking for any recommended suppliers/experience of the following:
    * punch tools
    * patch panels
    * line testers
    * RJ45 sockets and wallplates (we need brushed steel in some places)
    * cabinets
    * etc....

    Feel free to PM if necessary!

    Many thanks
    SSE

    This is probably better suited to home entertainment.

    I use these suppliers (in approximate order of price/preference):

    Deering Datacom on Cork Street - http://www.deering.ie/; primarily datacom products, good prices, easy to deal with, quick delivery

    Temple Sales in Tallaght - http://www.templesales.com/; well-established commercial supplier of everything to do with cabling

    Wood Communications in Ballymount - http://www.woodcomm.ie/; another well-established supplier.

    CPC - http://www.cpconline.ie/; UK supplier with Irish ordering site/phone number. Huge range of everything, quick delivery, not always the cheapest for datacom stuff but great for most other stuff.

    Eurosales in Ringsend - http://www.build.ie/company_478681.htm; good value for bog standard CAT5 faceplates; not so much on patch panels and the like. Handy if you need something quickly.
