Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Mate of mine went into River Island recently asked for a large size in a shirt - sales assistant told him they weren't stocking obese sizes anymore - classy!
Quality of clothes there are absolute sh1te I wouldn't buy me socks there.

iv noticed in alot of those places the sizes are very small, where i would wear a medium happily in most places; topman/river island/jack and jones and the like have very small sizes.

America is the total opposite.Clothes were nearly too big for me in America.I just about didnt look too scrawny in a xs over there.

Hmmm from a female point of view, I would say Topman.. But that is mainly because I'm not a River Island fan, but about 50% of my clothes are from Topshop, the female part:D

i seen 26" waist jeans in jack and jones in sligo a few weeks back. but then again that was nearly all they had left as it was a relocation sale

their jeans are actually surprisingly good for the price you pay, i'm wearing a pair at the mo i got at least 3 years back and there's very little wrong with them.

While R.I and Topman are probably among the cheapest fashion outlets for lads around, the quality is pure muck. I'd even say Topman is as bad as Unique for quality of its produce.

In the past week I've seen good winter gear in Urban Outfitters (Temple Bar), Brown Thomas and BT2. House of Fraser in Dundrum always has an excellent autumn/winter range and if you wait until december or january you can pick up some really quality items in their sale.

 Cheap? You'd get a night out and a whore for the prices they charge for the god awful stuff they sell.

When I have money to spend on clothes (I seem to have bought more in the last three months than I had in the last fifteen years) I go to Penneys and maybe Dunnes and Heatons.

Why pay and arm and a leg for a t-shirt. It's just a t-shirt no matter where you buy it so you may as well save some money.

I don't pinch pennies I just shop wisely.
