    We are Melophobics.
    A four-piece rock band from Dundalk, Co. Louth.
    We would describe our music as rock, with a hint of indie and funk.
    Paul Mallon plays bass guitar. Seán Woods sings. Robbie Woods plays guitar. Conor O'Hagan plays drums.

    Influences vary from metal to classic rock to pop-rock to alternative to blues to funk.

    Having been on the scene for a few years, it is only recently, after a transitional period, that the group has really taken hold of their chance.
    Having played the local scene many times - most notable of the venues being the Spirit Store - we have also spread our music around Dublin.
    We have played the Voodoo Lounge, The Sugar Club and Temple Bar Music Centre and have gigs booked for Alfie Mulligan's and Eamon Doran's in the coming weeks.

    We are recording at the beginning of October, hoping that our new EP is better representation of our capabilities.
