Halo 3 Midnight launch!

Anyone going to pick up halo at midnight on the 25th??, Gamestop on Henry street are opening!

25th?, I thought it was the 27th here. We never get games the same time as the Yanks, although I think Halo 2 was an exception, we got it one day after on a Wednesday I believe.

Although with that being said I wouldn't be in any hurry to get Halo 3, I'd just pick it up if I happen to be passing a shop.

Anyone know if Tesco are getting it in and if they will put it out on the shelves at midnight? I remember for Halo 2 my local one broke broke the street date by two days so heres hoping for a repeat.

Tesco won't put it out at midnight.

Why don't you guys just get it in the morning instead of looking like complete losers at midnight.

Thats where ive pre ordered, although i'll chance my arm at getting a copy (limited edition) on the night anyway if they're not, will be heading in with a mate to pick up his copy on Dawson Street, afaik they are opening...

Gamestop in the Crescent Shopping Centre in Limerick have a sign up saying the are doing a midnight launch like they did with Halo 2. Don't know if the other one of their stores in the Parkway is doing the same.

No word on GAME doing it but I'd imagine Dawson St. would be the venue if there is to be one.

I'm more interested in Microsofts Launch party, they had a savage one for Halo 2 with an open bar. Want to wangle my way into that again!

Id say Dawson st will be having a midnight launch and id say it will be very good.....

Am not going to midnight launch cause none in my area:( but asked the parents could I have the day off school to go and get it and they said yes:D officially have the best parents ever:D but I think it would be different if I was not doing T.Y:rolleyes:

Thanks for clearing that up Absolam. I'd definitely prefer waiting at midnight rather than bother my ass that early in the morning.
