Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

G'day, I've just moved to Limerick from Australia.
I've got a Laptop and a Hauppauge - WinTV-HVR900 USB Hybird TV Stick.
Is is possible to get some free TV tuned in or not?

I have installed the lastest Drivers on a XP Pro machine and scanned through the default Ireland channels with the software provided with the Stick.

I have tried with the small included Aerial included with the Stick and plugged into the Aerial port in our Flat (I havent asked the Landlord yet if there is an antenna on the roof or not). Both result in not a single thing found...

I am right in the center of town.

Are there any settings I need to change or is it possible at all?

please help, I just want to see the news etc.

From what I can read up, it's a DTT (Digital Terrestrial TV) tuner only, so not much good to you, as there is no DTT signals receivable in Limerick (not that Im aware of anyway).

Indeed, I stand corrected. I looked at a link that only mentioned it's "Freeview" ability. I should've went to Hauppauge site!

As Conax says, it's both so it should work provided your incoming analogue signals are OK.
