    Hi all,

    not sure if this is in the right forum but I have a query on pcAnywhere.

    I have a PC running Windows 98SE, a laptop running Windows 98 (First edition) and a laptop running Vista.

    The Windows 98SE PC is connected to broadband at upto 8 Meg speed and is in the UK;

    the laptop running Windows 98 (First edition) is also connected to broadband at upto 8 Meg speed, though at a different location in the UK

    and the laptop running Vista is connected to wireless broadband at upto what in practice is only 1 Meg and this is in Ireland.

    I have pcAnywhere v11.5 installed on the PC in the UK and and on the UK laptop, however i need to install pcAnywhere on the Vista laptop.

    Questions;

    which version should I use? I'm guessing this must be v12.1?

    Is this Vista version compatible with v11.5 - Windows 98 version?

    what type of link will I have using a 1 meg broadband service?

    Any helop, tips, etc gratefully accepted.

    Cheers,

    HPMan
