Friend of mine's car broke down yesterday and her test is tommorow,on top of which when the car was in the repair shop previously the insurance was frozen (she only got it back the other day). She knows that its likely she's not gonna pass the test anyway, especially in a rented or the instructors car, as she's so used to driving her Mini. She's tried to get through on the phone to explain and postpone but cant get through, she's gonna try again today but probably wont get through again. So basically she wants to know what will happen if she just doesn't show up. She knows that if you arrive late you forfeit your fee, which i assume is the same for just not showing up, but are there any concequences other than that?

Call HowToDrive.ie. They do lessons in Mini's. You might be lucky enough to get a pretest and the car at this short notice.

If she doesn't turn up, her fee is forfeit and that's it. She'll have to apply again.
