Camera choice

I've been looking around the web and the best options for me (entry level prosumer camera) seem to be either the Sony HDR-FX7 or the HDR-FX1E. The FX1E is the higher spec camera but is only $200 more expensive. Worth it? I'm looking at ordering it from the US, on bhphotovideo.com.

Also, anyone know anywhere good to get cheap audio equipment? I'm looking at microphone booms etc.
