Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Would anybody know how to install an MS DOS game on Windows XP? I have an oldie - it's a classic - but I don't know the first thing about making it work.

Try using DOSBox to run it, should work fine after that.

Okay, got DOSBox. I'm rubbish with computers and I apologise but I don't know the prompt...the file is in my documents on my d drive any idea as to how I tell Dosbox to look there for it? If you're interested, the game is here http://www.thehouseofgames.net/index.php?t=10&id=157

If not, no worries at all.

I went by the step by step thing here. A bit tricky at first but you will get the hang of running the games.
