hah. well I'll have to see you play to decide where best to put you. I think you and boston could have an excellent defensive partnership, a bit like Pallister and Bruce

Well, once you see me play (which, by the way, none of ye shall ever get the chance to do) you'll no better than to put me on the pitch.

Okay I take it people are a bit concerned about posting up their timetable, fair enough.

Well let's see if we can get a game going on for Freshers' Week. Anyone who posted at the start of this week still interested?

Yep - just name a time on Thursday and see who can make it

No point in naming a time if we haven't booked it. If there's a slot open, I'll be able to book it in the morning. If the guys who put their name down at the start (Nehpets, Pughwash, sd123, dan719, the flanalator, Marshy, JC 2K3) read this they'll have to say they're still interested...

I'm still interested, but none of us freshers have our timetables yet.

EDIT: Actually wait, I just realised there're no lectures this week, so I actually do have my timetable(as in, what's going on next week in terms of tours and orientation meetings etc.)

Ok, I'm registering on Thursday morning and then have this Library tour. Should be free for the rest of the day by 11. This goes for Nehpets too, presuming he's still playing.

I'll play if you can give a definite time. Should be free for Thursday afternoon ok.

Alright good to hear lads. We'll get through this game, see how it goes and maybe organise something weekly if it goes well.

I'll head into DUCAC to book it tomorrow morning for some time around 2pm. (There's no guarantees there will be a place, but I'll see what I can do). Will report back in the morning.

Booked and paid for in advance. "Thursday will be brighter and milder, with sunny spells and just a few showers."

Meet at 2pm outside the Dining Hall.

    Todays wednesday love.

Its looking unlikely that i'll be able to make it tomorrow, or even get into college tomorrow, something has just come up. Will lets my mates know of the meeting details.

    *Hangs head in shame....

Freshers week is having an odd effect on me it seems! :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,434 ✭✭✭the flananator

Erm, looks like I forgot. Apologies...

Sorry for the no-show guys. I registered and had my library tour done well before even 11 o'clock. Didn't meet JC unfortunately and anyone I knew were in hour long meetings. I wandered around for awhile trying to waste time but eventually I went home.

    Damn! :(

We had 8 people in total. Anyway, Ibid suggests we book it for the rest of term. I suggest that people interested pay Ibid in advance (since he has to pay for the full 10 weeks in advance), if we can get 8 people willing to put down 20 euro I can see this working. I'll committ to 20 euro and I'll talk to my mates. In addition allow people to play on an on-off basis at about 3 euro a pop.
