Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Deleting partition query

A copy of windows on a laptop I have gives you an option on boot up if you want Xp Pro or Xp home and I want to get rid of it. I was going to stick a fresh copy of XP on anyway but when I get into the Blue install screen where you can choose to delete partitions there are two 8mb and the main one. I want to delete the 8mb one as I presume this is where the boot info is that is giving the two options on startup but it wont let me. Is there any other way to do?

    Cheers

The option you're seeing is most likely coming from the (hidden by default) boot.ini file on your system partition (the 8MB one probably contains manufacturer-specific data).

Would the option of Xp pro/Home I get at start up be in there if so can I edit it out and if not where would it be so I can delete it as it might save me doing a complete install.

    Thanks
