Painting a board

Hey, I just bought a new surf board, I havn't waxed it yet, and being slightly artistically inclined, I wanted to give it a bit of a custom paint job. If anyone here has any experience painting surfboards, could they give me some advice, ie, what type of paint to use, do I need to seal it, etc... Thanks in advance.

Airbrush, in your case with a glassed board, enamel - then clear coat- but keep it to a minimum.
