Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

He is very good, no doubt about it. Not as good as Boruc though IMHO

boruc made an unbelievable save last night for poland.
low header from 6 yards and dived down to flick away with his arm, one of those banks/schmeichel saves....

I dont deny Boruc is a great keeper, but i feel his temprament is a little too suspect and could lead to him becoming erratic if he keeps it up.
Gordon is a very relaxed young man who seems to be able to withstand a lot of pressure, age is on his side also.

Madness is a pre-requisite in a great goalie!

He made a bad career move going to Sunderland- will be playing Championship football next season IMO.

    Welcome back BTW :)

I agree, i think though if he performs well enough, like he did for scotland last night, and against Man Utd last week a bigger club will come in for him next year.
As i said hes still very young in goalkeeping terms.

And cheers, feels kinda wierd being back in the city again TBH, and the damn seagulls are so noisy! :D

    Utd have Foster
    Chelsea have Cech
    Liverpool have Carson/Reina

all four above are better than Gordon imo

Arsenal are the only ones who might go in for him, but they are constantly linked with Boruc, who surely would be a natural/equally mental replacement for Lehmann.

Maybe Gordon to Celtic next year???

I dont quite know what your geting at Ziggy :p

Millersangel...... I never really meant any of the "big four" just yet.
Maybe a Newcastle or Villa in England, or a mid level continental team.
Hes 24, still got a good long while in front of him at the top.

yea, if Villa can't get Carson in the summer, they might just. Although MON might not be interested after he knocked them back in the summer. ah well

yea he is a good goalie alright from wat i've seen of him, which granted, isn't much
