Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Was goen to put this in jc forum but its more of an ah thing. im sure you heard of the young girl who jumped in front of the dart and died yesterday after getting her Junior Cert results.

To me this is a definate indication that there is far too much pressure on kids, cuz thats what they are, to do well in this , all in all meaningless set of exams

    what do you think?

Very little to do with the results I would wager. She got 7 honors.
There is way more to this, the JC results mean bugger all. So dont go all Sun on us ok.

The JC should be made easier and shorter. You should be allowed bring in your books with you as well. It's too damn hard as it is. There is far too much stress involved with this life changing exam.

Either way the results pushed her over the edge.

when you are doing the JC, teachers in the school make it out to be the biggest most important thing they'll do before the leaving, which it isnt.
