I used to work there more than a decade ago and even back then he had some fancy motors (back when supercars in this country were very rare)

Glad you approve; I reckoned I had to get them up the day I saw it. Oddly enough, in the last week I've gotten a pile of pics of exotic/unusual cars, but the Veyron HAD to get posted immediatly!!!

A little trivia; he was once involved with a much more powerful car, which had a smaller engine, weighed less, and did 0-200mph in 10.9s! To put that in perspective, a Veyron only gets to 186mph in 18.2s. Oh, and he did this 34 years ago! It was the Porsche 917/30.

This is the only reference to it I've seen in here. It's a link to another forum. Haven't seen any photo's in here yet.

RE: Veyron; I had to link it to the other forum as i can never post pictures on here properly; reckoned it was easier to post one link with a good few pictures the 15 links of 1 picture each.

I remember marshaling at the Ordnance Survey wen the Enzo was out and it pretty much dawdled around. Given the trees there, I can't see the veyron going much faster.

...........yeah I thought that too ! Pretty tame IMO, wasn't it driven by Michael Cullen ?

After watching the racing cars, and hearing them, even HiPerf cars are missing something !

Googling a bit and I actually remember the fatal crash in Zandvoort in '73 . I didn't remember the driver killed was Williamson and that he drove a 917/30!

Looks very well indeed from that angle. I don't like the alloys though. They look like BMW alloys

He didn't. He drove a March F1 car, but the event resulted in a certain amount of soul-searching in motor racing.
