he also has a 360 in stock. both UK cars, wonder if they came in cheap after the floods... either way, 250k for a 04 Gallardo is too much to ask.

Seemingly not anymore. However I had heard he was (more specifically I heard that a guy with a business in Greenogue that has a Ford GT was getting one), hence the Veyron thread.

Sport and Classic did get a Veyron in fact the first one in the country, its just they did not advertise it as agreed with the buyer.

Just bought my new car from them and was talking to the owner.

the Ford GT is back for sale with them again...

So someone in Greenogue has one.... anyone got a list of the businesses out there... haha

how did they get it though... number 1 of 101 cars.... I saw the Richford one at toys for big boys, lads were saying it was better than the SLR!

    TwoShedsJackson - it's a ford Mustang

@Steve06 - You were at the Phoenix Park right? Do you know the reg of the Cunningham Higgins Veyron by any chance?

  • Subscribers Posts: 3,704 ✭✭✭TCP/IP

The lads in sport and classic can and do get anything. In fact a lot of the stuff they get does not even go on the web as you can special order with them. Anybody fancy a F1 car ummmm

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 34,809 ✭✭✭✭smash

Same with Des Cullens though, most of their business is special order and never makes it to their site.

I thought as much as I heard that from a reliable source. Then the whole Dublin V Galway argument started on the Veyron thread and I decided not to bother with it anymore.

What did you buy off them?

  • Subscribers Posts: 3,704 ✭✭✭TCP/IP

Yeah it was the first in the country and also to make it worse it was delivered, kept overnight and then put on a trailor and collected never even driven. Makes me sick with envy :)

    I bought a 3litre BMW Z4

Any idea of the colour scheme?

No idea mate getting the info I had was like pulling teeth, they seem to take privacy seriously

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 34,809 ✭✭✭✭smash

that's a good thing... If I'd bought from cunningham Higgens and they leaked it I'd cancel the order and go elsewhere!

  • Subscribers Posts: 3,704 ✭✭✭TCP/IP

I would be with you on that Steve just going into the showroom is like a mans wet dream if you are into cars, it truely is something else.

When I was there a guy walked in and bought a 2007 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano man the noise off that car

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 34,809 ✭✭✭✭smash

yeah it's savage, I'd have gone for the des Cullen one though... the colour is stunning.
