Saw this tasty number in Cork this evening. I was lucky enough to get to take a '02 M3 for a drive a few weeks back, this one must be some thing else!

The NVDF isn't always 100% accurate but I doubt someone would have VRTed a 320d as an M3!

I'd go with that, specifically the junction with Gracepark Ave.

(Curious to know if it is now, 'tis a slow work day :))

Give that man a can of coke ;)
Bang on. How the hell did you spot that???

The reg is M33 ASY on an M3.
The photo quality is crap and I didn't get the pipes in, but the car was in great condition, well detailed too :)

    *cracks open coke*

I triangulated the picture with google earth and then used a topographical overlay to get the proper result.

Seriously tho', it just looked familar with the incline starting of Gracepark Ave. on the left, and the no truck entry sign to the right.

the amg looks nice but in person the standerd new mercs are ugly, they've lost the smug factor when your driving, the badge that stuck up so you could see it while your driving to remind you what your driving is gone.... :(

fake M3 - explain so - what can you spot ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,590 ✭✭✭tossy

I know a real M3 when i see one and that my friend is a real M3!

I was simply feeling a little mischivious when i posted the above comments, maybe due to the fact its the 700th M3 posted on this thread and in celtic tiger ireland an M3 is about as exotic as an audi TT or an X5!

I go away for a week and there's 2/3 pages of ****e-ing on abuot exhausts, not the focus of the thread boys and girls.
Went to Florida and there really was no point taking the camera, there was a Mustang or Corvette around every corner. The best surprise was perhaps the exotic rental place a few doors down from the hotel, pics when I'm not dead on my feet - only off the flight about an hour.

    Nice Murci *Kol*, 640?

I dont know if it was a 640. I didnt want to be getting too close. There were security people eyeing me as I was taking the photos.
