New TT in Tango Orange snapped on the continent........stunning colour for that car......have'nt seen any in this colour? have you?

My mother had an escort that colour in 70's!! It would not be to everybodies taste.:pac:

  • Registered Users Posts: 550 ✭✭✭mcauley

Colour aint to my taste on that TT - makes a change from the usual silver/black ones though....

It's a new model TTS. Ya can tell from the new bodykit and the chrome mirror-caps. Dont think they've arrived here just yet....maybe AudiChris can confirm that...,

TT-S maybe? I know that colour is an option on the S3.

    Spotted these the other day

I passed a Merc CL 600 (1997) yesterday on Ennis Road in Limerick!

First of its kind i've seen and can't imagine there are too many about.
Couldn't get a pic of it but this is almost the same:
    http://www.carzone.ie/used-cars/Mercedes-Benz/CL-600/car/723648/

It caught my eye because of the sheer size of the bonnet!

    6.0 litre engine.....396 bhp V12!! :O

Feel like a bit of a dope now. I searched back a rake of pages yesterday and completely missed the R8 on......the page before this! Must not have downloaded fast enough and I scrolled down past it before it loaded. :o

the amg looks nice but in person the standerd new mercs are ugly, they've lost the smug factor when your driving, the badge that stuck up so you could see it while your driving to remind you what your driving is gone.... :(

.......I agree about the styling of the newer cars, dont care for it much and that W204 C-Class has a terribly dull interior.

Its only the AMG & Avantgarde that lack the upright bonnet star. The Classic and Elegance still retain in with a more traditional grille.

The new Mercs are NOT all debadged, it is a no cost option, and the E-Class has been available since 2005 with the Sport pack which gives it dual exhausts. The standard E200K does actually have twin exhaists but the outlets are more discreet.

How come the white one isn't listed on their website? are you confusing it with the bright silver one?

I know a real M3 when i see one and that my friend is a real M3!

I was simply feeling a little mischivious when i posted the above comments, maybe due to the fact its the 700th M3 posted on this thread and in celtic tiger ireland an M3 is about as exotic as an audi TT or an X5!

the new model €130k+ m3 is a little more exotic than a TT or X5 imo plus this aint celtic tiger ireland any more :(
