    Saw a grey Merc SLR on UK plates in Malahide village tonight, was gone in a blink so no pic but it just looked amazing.

    Same colour as this one.

    I could've sworn I saw one pass me in the port on Tuesday, but when i looked to see it was gone. Same colour, too

    no, it was crashed in 2007. Now it's for sale without any mention of the repair.... at a premium price!

    Didn't look very stable.
    Actually very stable, it's a motorbike for someone who doesn't like the idea of being able to fall over. The front wheels will allow you to lean and will adapt themselves depending on the speed you travel. By all accounts it's much more stable in corners, but your lean is very limited. You'd never get the knee down.

    Correct me if I'm wrong.... but a dealer has to specify this when selling a car! Especially when it was that badly damaged.

    Also 2 other 01 Elises have sold recently for 11 & 12 k - this one is worth about 8/9.

    I took these out in the Audi showroom in Park Motors, but they still count for this thread.

    I test drove a new 2.0 200bhp TFSI TT there, which has quite a nice turbo! Couldn't believe they let me out in it - my uncle was shopping for one and it was proposed by the salesman that I take it out and see what I thought, and I'm only a young'un at 20 :o. Salesman put it into sport and told me to open her up, times must be tougher than I thought! (And yes that thing goes!) :D

    Twas, sorry about that ..

    Was in Gibney's and two of the Boyzone lads were there and was told that Ronan has a recording studio up in the house and Westlife and the like have been seen going in to use it from time to time.

    Although the strangest sighting of a celeb in nice car that I ever seen was also in Malahide driving through to the Marina and it was the Old Professor guy from Fame of all things :)

    He was in an old Rolls Royce ..

    Missing lumps of therie interior. Filling up at the pumps.

    Have photos on the phone. One guy was not happy about it!

    Saw a 99 D reg Lotus Elise last night. Was driving onfront of me. Cracking sound of it, he really gave it welly and I could still here him about 2 miles away lol.

    Saw an '07 Alfa Spider today.
    Haven't seen one before. Thing was gorgeous. Hell of a lot nicer than the Brera.

    I just missed a Lotus the other day, other distractions (gutted I missed it tbh).

    Was red, 2006 I think, big spoiler so must have been an Exige, wish I had noticed it coming down the road.
