IIRC those Figaro's were only about for a few years, and origionally only two colours, blue and green.

There's a coffee brown colour too that I've seen.

    Stupid looking things I think.

Actually, I'm wrong. Taken from wikipedia.org
The Figaro was introduced at the 1989 Tokyo Motor Show under the slogan "Back to the Future". It was built by a Nissan special projects group called Pike Factory, who also produced other niche automobiles such as the Be-1, Pao and S-Cargo. Only four colours were available: Topaz Mist, Emerald Green, Pale Aqua and Lapis Grey. Each colour symbolised a season of the year. When the car was launched, topaz mist was the least popular colour. There were only 2,000 produced in Topaz mist hence they have become increasingly rare.

The Figaro was equipped with leather seats, air conditioning, CD player and a open roof. It was designed by Shoji Takahashi, who won a design competition with the car.

    The engine was Nissan's MA10ET, a turbocharged 1.0 L (987 cc) I4.

Only 8,000 were originally available with an additional 12,000 added to production numbers to meet demand. Prospective purchasers had to enter a lottery to be able to buy one of these cars. Limited edition cars came with passenger side baskets and cup holders. These now fetch hundreds on internet auction sites.

In The Sarah Jane Adventures, Sarah Jane Smith drives a green Figaro, which was also featured in the finale of Doctor Who's fourth series.

More useless information for us, but people always seems to ask questions about them. Now we know, lol.

Out of pure luck i was back in Mondello today - but this time i managed to get four laps as a passenger in a M3 CSL on slicks! The track was soaking so the car was sideways on nearly every corner!! Was brilliant - the driver knew what he doing! In the first run after i got out a car done almost two 360 deg spins on the pit straight after gunning it coming out of the last corner:eek:

Got a few camera phone pics but didn't have my proper camera on me

I'm never usually one to comment on reg plates showing, I don't see the point in general but in this case maybe you should blank them out. Insurance companies wouldn't be too happy to see this. In fairness the drivers should know better and tape them up when on the circuit.

Same as E92 M3, very slippy and sideways in the wet.

Why???, the insurance company wouldn't have to cough up if anything happened on track....

True but they could cancel your insurance if pics like this were seen.
