The stretch Hummer is presumably 'the Monks'.
I saw a blue 04 or 05 Quattroporte this morning on the N4 at Liffey Valley but didn't bother getting a pic

There's no need to be like that ds, you wouldn't here any of us going on about Citroen's that fall apart or depreciate faster than a speeding bullet or suspension failure or...... I won't go any further.:D

Au contraire - you seem to hear little else. If it's not Citroën, it's Peugeot, and if it's not Peugeot, it's Alfa. Whereas if you were to read the general trend here, BMWs, or indeed any German cars, never ever ever break down. Even ones with 500bhp engines that are thrashed within an inch of their life.

    Anyway - aren't you selling a DS? :D

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,579 ✭✭✭junkyard

I know from personal experiences that BMW's never break down but I'm not so sure about VW's and Audi's. The Citroen DS is the exception to my previous post......especially the one I'm selling of course.:)

We have two E39 5 series here, one had aircon failure (common problem) and the other has broken down and left the owner stranded 3 times in 2005 !

Cost over €1500 to get it fixed once. The airbag lights on both keep coming on and one is currently downstairs awaiting its gearbox !

That said...................you could find similar stories about every make nowdays !

    its true.

the only reason you hear about the other marques more and more is because of bad, very bad customer service.

Driving behind a 1997 Ferrari F355 GTS in Portlaoise today.

Think he was a bit jealous of my megane as he passed me out...;)

Lovely motor, prefer it in red though...

There is a dealer logo on the moving photo, and none whilst it is parked in Belfast !

I'm sure it probably IS the same car ..........obvioulsy whoever is/was selling it down here didn't want anyone to know they didn't service it.

If some one could give a proper reason why registrations shouldn't be posted that doesn't start with "I know of.." or "I heard that.." I would love to hear it. :)

I don't know of, or haven't heard that. I know that it is possible to get personal information with the right information for example car reg's
