They have that and 2 other for a long time standing out the side of the dealer (or occasionally inside).

It was good to see it out and about, and I forgot my phone today so couldn't even get a snap.

Spotted a white M3 with black carbon roof presumably a CSL outside Abbeyfeale heading for the rally in Killarney on Friday evening. I think it was a NI reg but not sure, we were going in opposite directions at speed so if anyone else spotted it they might confirm if it was a CSL.
There were some nice cars on the road along with the hundreds of skanger bangers as well.
Was driving behind another M3 on the Naas Road later that evening, photo on my phone but cant find the lead. 08 D 25794 is the reg as proof. Serious pick up at the lights

All the new M3's (E90) have the black roofs, there is no E90 CSL and the E46 CSL's didn't have a black roof ;)

And there's no CSL version at the moment either... :)

Saw a '09 Merc CL600 in black in Glanmire this morning. Gorgeous.
Also saw an E90 M3 saloon in a BMW garage in Cork today. Actually prefer it to the coupe.

The E90 is the saloon and that hasn't got a carbon roof. Only the E92 (coupe) has a carbon fibre roof.

I get confused with all the E numbers.... and Pistonheads classifieds doesn't have E92 listed so I presumed the Coupe was the E90.

Looked very like this one, maybe a bit older though

The E numbers have me beaten so I'll let ye be fighting over them

I have a new model M3 so I'd have a bit more of an interest than the next person in them.. there's no new model CSL and all cars whether white or not, have a black carbon fibre roof.

Although not concise, here's a handy reference for you's for older BMW's.

    BMW Model Numbers

    Current 3-Series codes:
    E90 - Saloon
    E91 - Touring
    E92 - Coupé
    E93 - Convertible

Just curious but what is the touring?

    Is that the estate version?

As usual, ive got no pics but im wondering can anyone explain this. Going southbound on the N11 in cabinteely today I saw an XJ follwed by an XK (both high spec) 07 D 4400 and 07 D 2200. I presumed it was going to be husband and wife with similar registrations, but turned out to be two middle aged women driving them in convoy it appeared. Anyone know who owns them?
