Thats not the point, I dont look down at them at all, its just they are quite common, have nothing special performance wise, and in terms of looks, they are only better looking as they aesthetically immitate the faster S4 and RS4 which are rare, have special performance and good looking.

Total = 2.5L 5cylinder

If you don't get the retro comment re Audi and 5 pots then that can't be helped.

duuh, i get the maths but its "not quiet....retro". Audi didn't said "hey, let design a new straight-5 like the olds days" more like "we need an engine to fit without going to the expense of designing a new one...lets chop this V10 in half"

I never said they designed a new engine,i was just pointing out that a small fast Audi with a 5 cylinder engine is somewhat 'retro',sorry for the mix up.
