I see that car regularly in Limerick, would love to go at it with some chalk! :p
    ^Must be a vinyl wrap.
Planning on getting something similar done to my Puma...

When? It's just a passing fad IMO and will look horribly dated in a couple of years.

Do they do invisible vinyls yet?

You can do a lot with vinyl these days. hrdp_0910_19_z+custom_vinyl_wrap+car_trailer.jpg

That's exactly why a wrap is better than a respray. When the "fad" is over he can just take the wrap off. Simples

I seen a Porsche Panamera Turbo this morning in south Dublin. Driver was a prominent business man.

This is probably the only one in the republic. Looked much better in reality than in the pics ive seen.

Saw this myself, 10-D Panamera Turbo on Stephens Green. Agree it looks much better in person, the only thing that ruins it for me is the back but I suppose the guys at Porsche really didn't have much room to do anything with it when they were designing it. Front looks brilliant, interior is stunning and I'm sure it's superb to drive.

    It's his car.

He did have a matte black vinyl but he seen it was turning in to a fad so he got rid of his before it went mainstream.

What color was the muira berty? Lucky spot, would have loved to have seen one on the irish roads :)

  • Registered Users Posts: 26,149 ✭✭✭✭Berty

It was a little duller than the one above. Kind of a burnt orange colour. Looked fairly original paint colouring, black original vintage plates(original design anyway). I didn't see the driver as I was more fixated on the car itself. It was turning right on a green and I was passing through a green light going straight and couldn't get the phone in time.

I know where it is. I might go and see If I can spot it unless they were just visiting somebody.

I'm afraid the ZV plates are for classic imports, so it's not an original Irish car. A genuine Miura is still a very rare beast, though.

Well if he wants to change the colour of his car to black (or green or red, etc) he can do it without having to suffer the hit a colour change does to a cars value. Great alternative to a full respray IMO and cheaper too. Completely changes the look of a car and makes it more interesting in most cases.
