I dont know about that PSU never heard of nesteq before, stick to poular brand names is the best advice ocz or corsair..

That CPU HS wont keep the quad cooled very well I dont think.. Something along the lines of Thermalright ultra 120 extreme would be alot better or a tuniq tower..

Otherwise it looks fine, you will need a 64bit OS for 4GB of ram.. What will the pc be used for?

It will be used primarily(and close to exclusively!) as a gaming machine.

Can I get you to take another look at the CPU heatsink. Its done very well in reviews. Also if you still recommend swapping it out are there any other options instead of the those Tower heatsinks. I just dont like the look of them and would prefer something that doesn't take up as much room in the case.

I hadn't heard of nesteq myself until I saw them mentioned in a review of cases. I might swap it out to reduce the price a bit anyway but their power supplys do seem to be quite good.

If you want a quad you get a Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme or a Tuniq tower. Simple as, otherwise you go watercooling.

A quad gives off too much heat and nothing else on the market cuts the mustard at the moment.

I have a Thermal right ultra extreme on my quad: it was easy to fit, very secure fit to the chip and keeps things much cooler and quiter than my previous cooler: Arctic Cooling Freezer7 Pro.

It also doesn't take up too much room, not as much as you would think. Plenty of space for one in a Antec P180 or similar sized case.

1st off, that blue orb is being testing on a pentium 4(1 core) you want it on a quad core(4 cores) big heat difference there! So I really doubt it will cool it properly at all... The thermalright I suggested is very easy to install and very safe! The stock heatsink would be better than the blue orb! So if your not overclocking do what grim is and keep it on the stock one...

Second... I was too late to be the smart ass and get the cooler answer in damn you other quick people lol.. ;)

As for the PSU I think you should best go for something popular I cant say much about the nesteq ones... Seasonic OCZ Corsair is the way to go my friend

Thanks for the advice lads. I'll probably stick with the stock CPU heatsink and upgrade it at a later date. Will switch to a different PSU given the concern over the branding. Reckon I will just get the 2gb of ram and double this at a later date also.
