Cut on paw

Was just up the park with my dog there and he got a cut on his paw and is now licking it like mad. Is this a good thing or should i try get him to stop?

It's a good thing that he licks it keeps the wound clean.
If it's a bad cut best take him to the vet to be safe.

I would check with a vet to be sure, too much of the dog licking it won't do it a whole lot of good. Make sure it is not getting any worse.

ah it's not a bad cut just a little nick. Seems to have stopped licking it now anyway, cheers!
