Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Vista Business and the O2/Vodafone/3Ireland Broadband Modem

Can anyone tell me if the problems with Vista and the 3 wireless broadband service effect the offering from O2 and Vodafone also?

I was trying out the 3 USB modem with a new Dell Vostro with Vista Business and the firmware problem meant the staff in 3 telling me it wouldnt work.. and they seem to be right.

Does that mean that none of the 3/Vodafone/O2 packages will work on this setup?

Here's a thread I started last night on the other forum about the specific problems I had setting it up.

Just out of curiosity I plugged in my friend's Vodafone modem and it was up and running very quickly (I'm using Vista Biz obviously). There's also a firmware update available on the vodafone website for older modems.

It might be a 3 thing. There's a rather long thread on Broadband where people are queueing up to say how bad their service is! In fact this might be a lucky escape.
