Got a ruler but broke it

seen the notepad but didnt take it and couldnt find the highlighter.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,851 ✭✭✭PurpleFistMixer

I got a thing of postits, is that the notepad?

And yeah the 3way highligher is a pretty stupid design, have to hold it weirdly to make it work.
But it's free so I aint complaining!

Did anyone go to the Art/Design talk?

  • Registered Users Posts: 589 ✭✭✭irish_boy90

the highlighter was alright, i don't complain about stuff i get for free.
the skoool pens are quite good anyway.

wish there were more things on offer, could have used some exam papers :)

Going to this on Thursday. Don't really know how to get there. Might just cycle, bus or get a lift or something... Already know what I'm doing so I'm mostly going for the craic and free stuff.

I know its really late and im very unorganised :(
but can anyone tell me if you need tickets or to register for higher options??
My school is small so theres only four of us going... do you reckon we could pay at the door??

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,626 ✭✭✭timmywex

My school isnt going at all! The guidance teacher is going up and getting a bunch of prospectuses for every college, bringing them back down and handing them out, being a year of nearly 160 including 13 repeats, thats one heavy car on the way back:D

Heading tomorrow. Career Guidance teacher told us to make our own way but be there by 9.00. Not a chance, head there about 10.30 and leave about 12 after I get a few pens and prospectuses.

    Typical dubs

We're leaving at 6am. I'm going to the 'careers with law degrees' talk and then the canteen. Do they have hot food there?

I wonder if there will be cutbacks on the amount of free stuff this year, in light of the recession et al? :pac:

Castlebar is a town that sucks all ambition and drive from your soul. Stay clear of the place. :o

They both suck equally in my opinion. Mantra or Quattro, oh decisions, decisions.

Edit: Does anybody know how much they are charging for entry to the higher options. My sis is going thursday and her teacher is charging her a tenner. It was free last year iirc!

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,893 ✭✭✭Davidius

My school is taking 5th years to it seeing as we got to go last year which I thought was only because there was no standard Leaving Cert group before us. I assumed that they were going to bring us this year too but apparently not.

If I cared more I would go by myself. :pac:

I'm from Athenry and we have to get the 7 train to make it there relatively in time for the lectures, and not leaving till around 4/5... All I want to see is the Studying in an Eastern European University and get to a few stalls.

What decent pubs are around that general area for the rest of the time I'm there..? I don't want to get back on that train without a few in me...
